Vehycal Tablet is a bone-support supplement from Alembic. Each tablet has calcium aspartate (about 73 mg elemental calcium), vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) 10 mcg, and L-lysine 10 mg. Calcium builds bone. Vitamin D3 helps the gut absorb that calcium. L-lysine supports calcium uptake and collagen, which holds joints and connective tissue together. It is used when the diet is short on calcium or vitamin D, and as support in weak bones. Swallow it as advised, usually with food. It is a supplement, not a stand-alone cure for fractures.

How Does It Work?
Calcium is the mineral bones are built from. Vitamin D3 raises calcium and phosphate taken up from food, so more of the mineral stays available for bone. L-lysine is an amino acid that helps the body hold on to calcium and supports collagen, the protein framework of bone and joints.
Directions For Use

Space it from thyroid medicine, some antibiotics, and iron, as absorption can drop.

FAQs
Q1. What is Vehycal Tablet used for?
Ans. It supplies calcium, vitamin D3, and L-lysine to support bones when the diet is low in calcium or vitamin D, and to support weak bones.
Q2. How is Vehycal different from Vehycal XT?
Ans. Vehycal has calcium, vitamin D3, and L-lysine. Vehycal XT adds methylcobalamin, folate, and vitamin B6, and uses a much higher calcium dose. They are not the same tablet.
Q3. Should I take it with food?
Ans. Yes, taking it with or after a meal is kinder on the stomach and can help you absorb the calcium better than on an empty stomach.
Q4. Can I take it with iron tablets?
Ans. Not at the same time. Calcium can reduce iron absorption. Leave a gap of about two hours, or follow the timing your doctor sets.
Q5. Is it safe in pregnancy?
Ans. Only if your doctor advises it. Extra calcium and vitamin D are sometimes needed in pregnancy, but the dose should be chosen for you.
Q6. How should Vehycal tablets be stored?
Ans. Keep the strip below 30°C in a dry place, away from moisture and sunlight. Store it out of children’s reach and use it before expiry.
